See the guy on minus points so far for his team? Priceless!Spigzy wrote:Danny Mills Fan Club - that's going to be quite some haul this GW!

Mind you, my missus is getting a bit above herself ....
I came, I argued, I'm out
I'm sure you're quietly happy with the wife on top for the moment, we're getting to the home stretch and there's only 30 pts in it, I'm sure you'll restore law & order in the AiA household shortly!
I think the -1 point and a couple of the others are just dead teams; no transfer activity since before Xmas. More pressing is whether Vardy can score a hat-trick vs the Toon, was so tempted to captain Kane :/ Curse Newcastle and the 'we've been shit, but let's play well for the new manager' nonsense, bad timing for Cambodge Hammer methinks. It's all going to hinge on the double GWs and final wildcards.

Yep and I managed to strategically leave for this weekend's away game so I could avoid watching the Huns beating us on Friday night Easy run in now as we chase 4th place play off. Your boys are getting a bit near the danger zone.andyinasia wrote:rl66 wrote:Dealt my triple captain on Aguero, raging he missed that penalty.
My season kicked off last night with the Thai season opening game a local derby Chonburi v Pattaya Utd, about 1,000 Pattaya fans made the trip and a cracking atmosphere but we went down 2-1. Can't argue with a 100 baht ticket and 250 baht for my top. Bangkok Utd at home midweek and then off on a longer road trip for Suphanburi on Saturday.
While you were watching real football, this armchair fan was watching your boys live, getting mullered by the Papists. Next day I saw my boys nearly get beat too, so I'm not gloating!
Thank goodness for a Spurs treble player boost last night as Saturday was seriously barren for me points wise, could do with the same from my Leicester trio tonight as I try to break into the global 1 million
No sign of these DGW fixtures appearing yet, itching to offload that wildcard and BB.

I'm really regretting blowing my WC too early. Missus has all her jokers intact. I think the DGW are all gonna come right at the death, meaning in the last 3 or 4 GWs we'll all be tossing them in like billy-o with a few huge scores and last-minute tears and cheers. Gonna be great!
I came, I argued, I'm out
But you can only play one per week, so only having a couple left is surely OK - one per DGW? My only regret was getting 34pts when playing my 'All Out Attack' card in GW6; I had a truly rubbish team back then, front to back. I'll be keeping that one next season for a bit longer until some patterns start to form.andyinasia wrote:I'm really regretting blowing my WC too early. Missus has all her jokers intact. Not really seeing any gems in the DGW either - previous seasons we've seen the "Big Four" playing two relegation candidates in the same GW, would have been ideal for Triple Cap or Bench Boost. I can't bring myself to load up on Arsenal this season, they're as reliable as a chocolate teapot; they'll probably get a point from Palace and WBA, with Ozil being benched for one of those games, and 60 mins+ yellow card in the other despite holding triple captain status!
Got a feeling I'll be looking at who is going to spank whipping boys Villa & Norwich in the next few GWs for that triple captain punt; bench boost for the busier DGW. Ugh.

^ That explains all the Lambo's and Ferraris in the car park.
My Spurs trio of Dier, Ali and Kane did the biz again but it's like being stuck in quick sand when you're down in the depths at this stage of the season. Don't see any great wildcard action for DGW34 but loathe to keep it until DGW37 if issues are sorted and players get rested.
K440 title battle is hotting up as I crane my neck upwards, well played the contenders.

My transfer gamble certainly didn't pay off this week, and a captaincy nightmare :/ Bloody annoyed as I was looking at Rashford with one eye on the double GW and his form, but plumped for Rondon instead just for a couple of "easy" matches. Grr.
What gets me is how Defoe isn't still playing for a top team - 12 goals in a really poor Sunderland side, as many as Giroud has scored for Arsenal. Derby County only scored 20 goals across their entire squad in 2007/8! I think he'll be the difference between Sunderland staying up, and the Toons going down.

I'm actually considering selling Aguero for Defoe or Rashford. Heresy!

Dealt my wildcard and have 5 DGW'ers, bench boost next week for 15 DGW'ers and should have 11 for GW35 with 3 transfers.
