^ Exactly. Just when I seemed to be getting some real momentum going on, I get 4 flat tyres. Sheesh!
Time to dump Vardy and Mahrez and start again????

Can't make up my mind what to watch tonight - Chelsea vs Everton or Man City vs Palace.
I wanna watch Chelsea get beat again, but Palace look like an outside bet on winning.
Whadya reckon?

From a position of considerable strength no less, being way out in front.
My plan is to play my wildcard and chips in double gameweeks where I'll get like 300 points and blitz y'all. Right now I'm having such a mare that I'm hiding under a rock until I'm no longer being stomped all over by my make-it-up-as-she-goes-along missus

Arse biscuits!! How on Earth have Everton not creamed a miserably dire Swansea side? I'm back to hating this sodding game, above average by 2pts, big red arrows of doom all round :/

You're still top dog. I finally had a good week thanks to my inspired transfer - KdB out, Firmino in. Only regret making him vc - was praying Lucky would get injured in the warm up yesterday, but shouldn't be so greedy.Spigzy wrote:Arse biscuits!! Next gw is midweek after the FA cup fixtures, so hold off on the trannys for the mo.

Imagine my joy when I woke up to find Everton had won 3-0 vs Newcastle - and Lukaku hadn't scored. Wijnaldum benched, transferred Lukaku for Ighalo, Barkley in my starting XI and of course Baines there too ... only Baines didn't play ... wtf, never easy this game is it.
Still, mustn't grumble, still top of the pile with a smattering of green arrows and a couple of red ones

Back on the horse! Mainly due to selecting Payet as captain mind you, generally poor scores around my team, but was always going to be tough with the big boys all meeting this weekend. (LOL not you Liverpool/ManU/Chelski ... damn that feels good )
I've got a feeling that with Villa down, Norwich and Bournemouth will join them soon. Fairly certain Fat Sam will keep Sunderland up, Schteeve *might* keep Newcastle up, that's the biggest threat to Bournemouth I'd argue. Top end, Ar*enal & Tottingham Hospurs will duke it out for 1 & 2, Leicester a very tidy 3rd or 4th.
Now, the plan to jettison Barkley is ready - decisions, decisions... (none really, Mahrez back in ... #NoBrainer, finding my own lack of faith in Leicester disturbing!)

I would've been up to second place behind you if I hadn't played Mahrez and left Vardy on the bench. Nevertheless, 4 of my last 5 signings, Payet, Firminho, Willian and van Dijk all came up trumps so mustn't grumble. Plus I feel pretty sorted for the dreaded blank gameweek coming up next.
Relegation - Villa (obviously) and Norwich are goners. Fat Sam will get enough out of the Mackems but I hope Bournemouth survive at the expense of Newcastle. I think they will.
At the top it's really exciting now. I wouldn't write Leicester off. They would've won the match were it not for that dodgy red card. Keep playing the Leicester way and there's plenty points in their next few fixtures. Last season showed them how to thrive under pressure so I can see them battling all the way to the last day. I have a hunch when the dust settles the top dog will be Tottenham.
United or Chelsea should wait until the end of the season and poach Pochettino. They won't though; they're too wedded to media-darling poseurs than a guy who quietly gets the job done.

Just a reminder there's midweek games - changes needed today.
I've taken a gamble this GW on the Hammers keeping the Spuds at bay ... I'd just like to say damn you Harry Kane & Dele Alli in advance

There I am making good and steady progress, up to 3rd place, and I've only gone and spunked my Wildcard. Mahrez went in the cull. Too late for regrets now .....Spigzy wrote:Just a reminder there's midweek games - changes needed today.

With Ighalo losing form and Watford approaching 40 point safety (impending mediocrity) I was torn between bringing in Vardy or Costa this GW, I plumped for Vardy given the Chelski blank in GW30 (and terrible Toon side). Backed the wrong horse short term, just glad I captained Mahrez instead. :/
