RIP Colin.

I just saw him a few days ago at Quealy's, though we didn't talk and I didn't know him. Life is uncertain. Hug those you love and tell them how much they mean to you.
Sad news.

I am very saddened by this. I've known him for about three years, maybe longer. Met him first at Sundance when he worked the evening bar. I believe he's been in Cambodia for nearly a dozen years. Someone can correct me on that, if I'm wrong. Colin was a good guy and I will miss his acerbic humour and steady, devoted presence in the Phnom Penh expat community. May he rest in peace.

Not the same guy. Colin never posted here.
And no, he wasn't an English teacher. I think you are referring to Simon who left a while ago and is working in Saudi now.

Damn, Colin was decent down to earth guy...my condolonces to his family.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
I was in Garage Bar yesterday afternoon and heard that a Brit had died over the road. Very sorry to hear it was Colin.

Didn't know the man, but saw him at Quealey's several times. 45 years of age, too young. May he rest in peace.

I remember bringing him a packet of pickled onion monster munch one time from the U.K. it was the thing he said he missed from England, he lived life to the full and as far as I know he was never a bad guy, rock on Colin.
Hello all,
I'm currently in contact with the family and I thought it would be nice if we could get together a collection of pictures and stories/anecdotes that we could send to the family. If you have anything, then please either put them here or PM me for my email address.
The family are very grateful for all the messages of support in this hard time.
Cheers,
Jess
