I have a friend in Phnom Penh who found around 7 month ago an injured cat (broken leg). He took the cat and took care of it. Now he is about to leave Cambodia and can't take the cat with him.
I have checked the website of PPAWS but it looks like they wouldn't accept any animals. Is there anything or anybody in Phnom Penh who accepts animals ???
The cat is an estimated 6 - 7 years old. Absolutely healthy, rabies vaccination, dewormed, no fleas.

Thanx for the info......I have no Facebook account. This Cambodian Animals Protection Association you have mentioned....is this a good, reliable place ? If yes, and if they took the animal, I'm pretty sure my friend would support them with tons of cat food.

yw! No personal experience with them (apart from some protected species for sale that i saw and reported to them), but from what i know about them they do it in the right spirit, and work together with other wildlife protection organizations, so i think it's OK!

Put it on the bus to the Northeast and I will collect it at the busstation. Serious.Advocatus Diaboli wrote:I have a friend in Phnom Penh who found around 7 month ago an injured cat (broken leg). He took the cat and took care of it. Now he is about to leave Cambodia and can't take the cat with him.

Garden is big enough, and there's two lovely dogs to play with that won't harm the cat after they have gotten used to each other, as well as an occasional rat to feast on.

Hey Kachang...that's very kind of you. Will contact my friend today. Try to get some photos and more infos about the cat. Can take a couple of days, but I'll contact you immediately once I know more. Again, thank you very much Kachang
