Yet cannabis prohibition is a recent thing, and one that had nothing to do with it's psychoactive properties.
Drug policies have sucked for years, and it is heartening to see a major paradigm shift happening world wide.
If anything, Cambodia should take a jump on its neighbours and become the Asian centre for medical marijuana and decriminalise it totally as a recreational drug.
