Lambert took a knee early in the third, got a shot to the head after taking the knee, which appeared to daze him
Made most of the count but was blowing upon the restart.
Took a few more shots, got a nosebleed. Took a standing count and then appeared out on his feet toward rounds end with referee calling a halt a few seconds befor the bell.
Superior conditioning and size advantage for his opponent proved too much.

Yeah, size and condition won out for the Khmer guy - a lot more fluid in his combinations. Lambo got in some good hits, though.

Well done to the winner and well done to our young man.
Jamie, I think you deserve a huge plate of steaming Lincolnshire sausages, with plenty of grilled onions and lashings of Colman's English Mustard! Good effort, mate!

I watched it on TV. They started showing the fight from the 2nd round on. They didn't show the 1st round, too busy advertising black cat beer From what I saw, Jamie was carrying too much weight, hence not quick enough and guard was down too often. Good effort though and gracious in defeat.

Good one, Jamie! You can't always get what you want, but you can try!
Now for playtime, lotsa good grub, drinks and whatever.

To get seriously fit takes at least a year or more of hard work,good food,no alcohol. If Jamie wants a rematch with him and wants to win ,it will mean a lost of absences,unless you have that ko punch,conditioning wins fights !
Dropping your guard is a clear sign of tiredness, and fitness is the answer. I reckon if you trained hard for six months you could take him, Jamie!

Perhaps silence would be more becoming of you,Fred Edwards wrote:To get seriously fit takes at least a year or more of hard work,good food,no alcohol. If Jamie wants a rematch with him and wants to win ,it will mean a lost of absences,unless you have that ko punch,conditioning wins fights !

ha ha , what i have posted is fair,and based on experience from my days in the ring.
What experiences was your post generated from?
Rhetorical question.
Plus to tell someone on a forum to silence themselves just highlights that you are very strange, I say this after checking out one or two of your earlier post.
PS How many post do you have to make to get the title LadyBoyLover ?

Silence twas only a simple suggestion, Mr. Edwards.Fred Edwards wrote: ha ha , what i have posted is fair,and based on experience from my days in the ring.

PS well done PB on the ladyboy thingy!....lol...I see it was not just me who thought that !
Although, I would have some minor qualms with the details of your training advice,
it was the timing of said advice that I found irksome.
As to Playboy's rank for me;
I was actually a little bit disappointed
that he wasn't more colorful;
Playboy is usually more subtly poignant with language,
but he has been stressed as of late.

You late to the party or slow Fred?
I give zero fucks about how you think how I should live
in or out of the bedroom
but I'm glad it amuses your puerile sensibilities Fred.
I'm delighted that your question about my "experiences" was merely a "rhetorical question"
as most of the fabrications GMB has claimed to have accomplished, I have actually lived;
although I, too, do NOT possess a Ph.D. Fred.
Find someone more in your league;
I am not your nemesis Mr. Edwards,
and I doubt you could prove yourself to be mine
even if you had nine lives.
We are both united in our supportive of Jamie.
There is always time for constructive criticism and analysis;
I was merely suggesting there might be a better time and place for both.
I agree, that the general nature of the contents of your statements were fair.

Keep it civil please gents. I'm sure Jamie is experienced and wise enough to draw his own conclusions.

i just want to thank everyone for the support, i really appreciate it, fighting over here was a little harder than expected due to a number of factors....
1. i had no sparring partners so i couldnt get "ring fit"
2. only had 2 weeks to try and get fit for the fight/make weight
3. i literally hat 10 minutes from getting into my boxing gear to going into the ring, no chance to warm up?!
4. fighting in 8oz gloves at 75kg+ is just stupid! and not boxing (anything above 60kg is 10oz minimum)
5. the 2-3minute gap in between each round really does fuck you up, any advantage you got from the last round is lost, every round is basically the 1st round!
but other than that, i felt like we both traded some big shots against each other through the first 3 rounds, my fitness and stamina let me down, the knock down (which was the first in my 12 year career) came as a shock but it didnt have any lasting effect, once he popped my nose though while my fitness was already shot, i just lost my game completely, which has made me (drunkenly) question how much i actually have left in the tank anymore, maybe it was just a bad night at the office, but i was embarrassed the whole time i was in there, i felt slow, no sharpness, like a novice fighter due to the lack of prep,
but yeah thanks for the support everyone it means a lot
