Seems a bit harsh Alan.alanclarke72 wrote:Kon Khmer wrote:I wonder what could be the consequences of this, if this was Thai based forum and all what written here were refereed to any Thai Royal family members.
Would a bunch of old grumpy expats who said mean things to the Royal family member get immediate deportation and a life-time ban penalty from entering the country and a permanent close down of Khmer 440?
Instead of saying means thing to the queen as you don't know words to address to the queen, why can't you just leave the thread to anyone who is capable.
This isn't Thailand and it doesn't seem to relate to any specific royal family. In fact, I suspect most of the answers are directed at the colloquial as opposed to the literal definiton of princess. So your question is as irrelevant as ever but that never stops you being a bit of a snide tit does it?

Especially since playboy is linked directly to 440, him being red and all.Jacked Camry wrote:I agree with those who think the responses here are over-the-top and extremely insensitive. If they were even a bit funny they might be borderline acceptable but as they're not, they should be deleted in my opinion. And yes, anyone who was complaining about bottom feeders and the general perception of Barang should be similarly concerned about stupid posts like Playboy's and others.

I'm pretty sure they are reading closely and keep eyes on who we are. 440 members are easy enough to identify as it is, now add to the fact that they are able to link our posts to physical location and subscriber information.Khmerhamster wrote:It doesn't take much for it to kick off here and a message to HE on Facebook asking him to look at 440 - what would happen. Maybe nothing, maybe a lot.

No what the reason a Khmer wouldn't get the reference or joke.

Kind of missing the point aren't we? Do you think this is a private forum? Yeah, there aren't any Khmer joining in with the willy jokes and laddish banter (what a surprise!)DetroitMuscle wrote:I know, right. All of our Khmer members are pissed off! All of them. A princess would be - Her Royal Highness (in English). There was an article about this in the CD years ago.jackrossi wrote:I would appreciate if you could tell me how to properly adress a princess and other members of the royal family.
