Cambodian Mornings
Cambodian Mornings
I miss the mornings in Cambodia. That cool hour before the sun says you must sweat. A cup of tea and a fat spliff. Maybe some music. Listening to the birds sing and the trees swaying in the wind. I've been back in London for the last few weeks. London mornings aren't the same. All I hear is Polish and other assorted multicultural stuff; don't call me a racist yeah yeah innit wink wink yeah its all working out great and everyone's happy. And the rules. Rules upon fucking rules. A fine for this, a fine for that. Bus lane cameras and don't park here. There aren't many rules on Cambodian mornings. Watch the cows wagging their tales. Roll another fucking spliff innit bruv, you need it trust me...

Mornings are the best part of the day:) i like to wake up early about 4am and have a coffee and watch the sunrise, when on the boat is best as hearing the waves lapping onto the hull of the boat and the cool breeze over the lake and the sounds of the fishing village folks as they start there day:)

What utter horseshit I just wrote. Excuse me. I've been smoking cheese, believe it or not. Too strong this cheese stuff. Anyway my plan is to return in a month or so and become a proper bottom feeder. Being wealthy is over rated. Most rich people are wankers. I wont walk around shirtless or participate in any violence; I will also shower - but I intend to come in at the bottom of the rung and stay there for the foreseeable future. Thanks for taking time to read..
Yes boatman morning people and early sleepers are the most interesting folk. Drinkers and night people tend to repeat the same old crap and eventually get red faces and bulbous noses..
I don't wake up until 12 oclock generally.
(Apart from today of course)

I remember how mondays used to be... The screeching of an alarm clock, unnaturally dragging me from an unsatisfactory sleep into another dull and predictable week. waking into an airless, stuffy room, an instinctive want to fling the window open.. but for 3 things... its bloody cold outside, it cost a fortune to get the stale air warm and outside stinks as bad as inside. Radio or tv gets flicked on with no anticipation of anything good coming from it, just overpaid, overacting idiots trying to convince me of something unimportant. Forcing myself to eat a bowl of mass-manufactured crap, washed down with cup of something that is not coffee, not even close.. A commute, either bus with everyone trying to ignore everyone and everything or a car with thousands of angry drivers, all not smiling, all not wanting to go where they are going. A day of work helping to make someone else rich, to then have half of your wages taken by the taxman in one way or another.
Good morning 440, it's very good to be here.

...Always in my humble opinion...
I love all people, I just don't like them near me.

^ If that's a sign of your future posts, it's very good to have you here. Welcome to 440.

Early to bed,
Early to rise,
Makes a man healthy,
Wealthy and wise .

Why did I leave the farm?
Sunrise, Chobe National Park, Botswana.
Pretty sure most places except Phnom Penh and Poipet have great early mornings< Kampong Cham is beautiful.

I get my best astral projecting done in the mornings. Meet lots of different people and it's a lot cheaper and quicker than traveling without the 12-hour fuck-my-back-up plane flights. Then when I return I'm in Cambodia and that still puts a smile on my face first thing. Life's good.
