Cost of Counterfeit Passports and Handguns
Cost of Counterfeit Passports and Handguns
No, I'm not in the market for either, just a bit of research. How much does a counterfeit top country passport go for?
Also, how much is a handgun to buy on the street? What is the main brand and calibre?

If it is Manchester a Russian pistol, with a full clip £100 to £200 dependant on condition, pre-usage and if it is re-activated. The much cheaper option is simply hire, with a two tier rate, if returned used or not.
Phnom Penh Market $50 for a Russian pistol or AK47 (derivitive) with a clip for either

Nothing but an opinionated tourist. The Pope spends more time in countries than I do ! It is also not my place to comment on a gentleman's dress. A real 23 minute wonder, that obviously knows little about ovens and cooking in Cambodia.

Do tell, where did you get this fabulous information from? Your couch in Wigan?EdinWigan wrote:Phnom Penh Market $50 for a Russian pistol or AK47 (derivitive) with a clip for either
A Khmerican I once new and wasn't a convicted felon, somehow got himself a job as a procurement officer to the RCAF. He legally exports top range handguns and sells them on to the top brass. He offered me a Glock for 3k a few years ago 'clean' from the US. I politely refused.

Nonsense. A Chinese K59 or T54 is more like $500.EdinWigan wrote:

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Lucan, would you say the two Chinese pieces you mentioned are the most commonly bought and sold handguns in Phnom Penh?Lucky Lucan wrote:

I wouldn't know, but they are standard issue for cops and used to be the models most mentioned in news reports. Guns are very expensive here, a high-ranking cop I know was very proud of his Beretta that cost him $3000.Londo wrote:

Rated R for Ricecakes
I saw a handgun for sale in khmer24. Not sure if it was genuine or not.

Settle down, I don't think ricecakes will be attending the cook-off.LoneStar wrote:I would pay a nice premium to anyone who could get me one.
Actually there's probably an interesting backstory to this request, probably something to do with transporting mouthwatering bricks of gold and bullions of silver about town.
Hope I'm not speaking out of school, but here's a shot of the back room at Lonstar:
I think you are about twenty odd years out of date, and the only market that supplied arms that I knew of back then was in Potchentong. $50 would have been about right in 1996. A friend of mine bought a Makarov back in 1999 for $200.Prices rose at that time with the new gun regulations. Now, obtaining weapons is generally much more expensive and convoluted, particularly as it is illegal for civilians to own arms.EdinWigan wrote:
