$$$ Import Export.
Yeah, IF being the operative word.
You better plan to camp in Pailin for months to see anything good.
Sunset rubies? Do you mean Padparadscha?
Forget the zircon too. The cutting is horrible and prices much better in Chanthaburi.

Not quite, the sunset ruby is a red sapphire and the Padparadscha is an orange-pink one, as below. AFAIK it is mainly found in Srilanka, and very rare. The sunset ruby is supposedly found around Pailin and also very rare and evidently disappeared around 1990. The sunset ruby made its "reappearance" more recently and was featured in one of the game of stones episodes. My reference to it was a bit "tongue in cheek" although gem dealing here can be reasonably lucrative, as long as you know what you're doingTaa Moan wrote: Sunset rubies? Do you mean Padparadscha?
Not even close, but the cost of some pills here's only a few % of the price over there, mostly because no prescription is needed. A prescription in my home town will cost me about 20-25 USD, and after that the pharmacist will add another 10 USD for his advise, and then there's the charge for the medicine bought on top of that.violet wrote:Medicines out of Camb. I see a market for certain pills...
Para/Codeine
Sleeping pills
Proton pump inhibitors
....
Just my 2 cents...
Here in the Northeast there's a large market for local gemstones, however, unless you're a specialist (I've been married to a gemstone specialist so I know a little bit) it's hard to tell whether the stone on offer is rubbish or great. Of course all on offer is sold in the 'great' price-range.Mèo Đen wrote:Not quite, the sunset ruby is a red sapphire and the Padparadscha is an orange-pink one, as below. That is a crap cut. Look at the tiny table facet lacking in symmetry.
Terrible facet meet points as well.

Is it legal?Taa Moan wrote:For export, human hair and collagen mask is worth looking into
The problem with the world is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
