Businesses which bit the dust in 2016
I am not too sad to report that V Club on street 208 (above Pencil) closed three days ago. They were very noisy neighbours. They ran out of high-rolling customers willing to climb those stairs. It seems all the Thai girls went back to Bangkok.

Songstonsally/Riveraffront's " Selling and Renting all kind of fan and jaw shattering".
Blue pumpkin hasn't made the list yet but I hear they are not doing too well those days. Their riverside flagstore looks as if it were almost closed.

That's certainly true. Both 57 and Riverside look dead with only the occasional customer and water stains on the drywall ceiling. I suspect one of the owners dieing had an impact on the willingness to keep up with the trends and change adapt their business model.logos wrote:Blue pumpkin hasn't made the list yet but I hear they are not doing too well those days. I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Riverside Blue Pumpkin started arguing with me when I tried to order ice cream. She refused to grab a cone before I told her what scoops I wanted and how many. She was visibly upset because I was waiting for her to pick up the cone. Really weird.
And what the hell were they thinking with their "ramen burger"? Let it die I say.

What ice cream flavor did you order? Hehe
We ordered a Sundae kind of a couple of weeks ago. Served in a lookalike cocktail glass. Thought it was really good for 3 some bucks something. But you guys might be right, they lost their niche.

The ramen burger comes with an egg and the buns are dried noodles. I had a bite of one when they were first introduced. It's as disgusting as it sounds. I don't vomit often in restaurants.
I was going for lemon and something that looked like mango. Half of them didn't have signs and they were upset I couldn't tell exactly what I wanted. I walked out and didn't have any.

I feel you. I went to the Lucky Mall, went to the third floor where Lucky Burger is. On their menu by the cash registers has a Prosperous Burger combination, out of curiosity I decided to check it out, ooohh couldnt find no positive comment on it, a part from the poor cooked fried and Coke.
The Japs invented Ramen, and they didnt dare to try it on burgers. Who the fuck they think they are. Idiots! At least the SR in the Angkor World Trade Center is sticking to their core products, their main stream of revenues are ice cream.
