Wake Up Poll
Wake Up Poll
I agree it's kind of a stupid poll.
Recently I've been in a cycle of two 4 hour sleep shifts in a day and found myself on K440 at 3 or 4am to notice Scoobs, Violet and a few others online mid week. This had me wondering....
What time do you get up? And if early, why?

I've dealt with a circadian sleep disorder since my teens. I haven't been able to keep regular sleep patterns for more than a month or so at a time since as far back as I can remember, no matter what. I'm not sure I could handle a 9-5 ever again. It's weird but ive just learned to live around it.

Usually between 3 and 5, depending on the length of the run scheduled. Only way to avoid heat and traffic and get the run out of the way before I start work, which is usually around 06:30.

wake up? get up?
wake up... all of the above (I rarely get a solid block of sleep)
Get up... depends on what time my working day starts.

Ok, at what hour do you turn in, and how long did it take you to make that habit?Rama wrote:5:10am...To go for a 30 minute morning bike ride (you can go a long way in half an hour) and then buy the morning papers before 6am.
I've done it before, but inevitably, some social calling or what have you had me out late, and missing the morning, then it often snowballs and doesn't recover from there.
I guess you have a fairly regular curfew for yourself, then?

Very varied, heading out for a 12-Miler now. I am training for an Ultra and there are a few long runs every week (25 Miles this Sunday).Londo wrote:How far are you running?Hanno wrote:Usually between 3 and 5, depending on the length of the run scheduled. Last night I was in bed at 23:00. Obviously, really late nights are not possible but then I am not into that anyway. My Mom says I have always gotten up early...Ok, at what hour do you turn in, and how long did it take you to make that habit?
