I was informed by a very reliable source that dipping your knob in Hennessy post-coitus will dissolve all traces of disease-infected smegma. That latex industry is very exploitative you know. Diseases aren't actually caused by transmission of body-fluids, viruses and bacteria and other pathogens. They are caused by bad mojos, spread by the kind of people who complain when you're just doing your thing. Fo sho.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

"We, the sons of John Company, have arrived"
That above statement is not true.Abou-Gor wrote: It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.
I saw a recent study that showed the life expectancy of those with HIV who are taking the drug treatments is about 15 years shorter than those without HIV. And about 1/3 of those in the study died from HIV related complications. So it is a myth that HIV is not so much a life threatening disease anymore. For those with and without access to good medical care (expat population in Cambodia?) it is still a potent killer.
A nasty nasty way to die.

Perhaps not in Cambodia or in a country without universal healthcare.jm91 wrote:That above statement is not true. .Abou-Gor wrote: It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.
In Australia AIDS (but not HIV) has been virtually eliminated.

You'll die even quicker if you have a bad diet. I was talking about Hep C.jm91 wrote:That above statement is not true.Abou-Gor wrote: It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.

EDIT forgot to mention you have a much higher risk of contracting hepatitis C. It's contracted in the same way as HIV but lasts outside the body a lot longer. http://www.healthline.com/health-news/a ... ier-111413 .

Can You Prevent Hepatitis C Infection?
There’s no vaccine to prevent hepatitis C. To avoiding getting the virus:
Use a latex condom every time you have sex.
Don't share personal items like razors.
Be careful if you get a tattoo, body piercing or manicure. The equipment may have someone else's blood on it.
Don't donate blood or tissue if you’re infected.
It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.
I agree that HIV is not as big a healthcare issue in parts of the West. And big credit to AU for doing a good job for addressing healthcare related issues of HIV.Gin&Tonic wrote:Perhaps not in Cambodia or in a country without universal healthcare.jm91 wrote:That above statement is not true. .Abou-Gor wrote: It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.

I suspect AU has a better healthcare system than the USA and the study I saw had been done in the USA.
The data I have seen is that life expectancy for HIV positive people is year lower and the reason is many are dying of HIV related diseases.
If a person has regular checkups with a primary care physician with regular testing for viral load..etc.. then HIV is much more manageable.
In a place like Cambodia with marginal healthcare systems...It is probably an early death.
Sorry - I apologize for misrepresenting your quote.Abou-Gor wrote:You'll die even quicker if you have a bad diet. I was talking about Hep C.jm91 wrote:That above statement is not true.Abou-Gor wrote: It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.

Yeah son/daughter, safe sex is just a fear campaign!Lucky Lucan wrote:I'm very surprised that anyone would advocate barebacking local hoes and suggest the risk was infinitesimal. That's just pure bad advice, besides the whole range of diseases you could be spreading around.
Just get amongst it like I have for years....awesome role model.
Reminds me of when smoking was good for you. And the "Marlboro Man"...whatever happened to him?
I am with you LL

The only thing that's free in Cambodia is dust.
Its much higher risk the more locals that are involved. Most don't even know what hiv is or how it's spread. No education, no science classes, just a big zero with a beer in hand, and a shit eating grin.Albro wrote:I wonder if there is less HIV among the girls who stick to foreigners.
Should be so as we from west dont have as much of it. But on the other hand there are allot of western scums here as well and you dont know the history of the girl, so. Used to be very careless so i consider myself lucky. But i would just naturally assume that some streethooker from wat phnom who take unprotected dicks from locals who already have allot of hiv would increase the risk allot.
15 years shorter (even if i thought it was 10) is still a long life and nothing strange if you would die that early by natural causes anyway.jm91 wrote:That above statement is not true.Abou-Gor wrote: It's not so much of a life threatening disease anymore is the good news.

Off topic.
I can still recall the AUS adds on aids, a grim reaper at a bowling alley knocking over sickly infected families. Worked well and got huge coverage.
I think a lot of people stopped fkng for a year.

Never mind
You would deny that allot of people life unhealthy or maybe even dangerous here? And would you expect those to live as long as someone in their home country who have a normal healthy life, not drinking beer and smoking (hopefully only cigarettes) 24/7. Add fat food, roadaccidents, drunk driving, bad healthcare and all the things that kills people in Cambodia......Would you still expect people to, in general, live as long lifes here as in for example europe? I do not. And if im right its not a looser attitude i have but rather facts.Lucky Lucan wrote:That's a pretty fucked-up loser attitude you have there.Albro wrote:
