trump travel policy and cambodia
i've heard rumors that there were several khmers traveling to cambodia and were not allow to board plane back to usa at phnom penh airport because they werent naturalized citizen and didnt have 10 years visa in usa. all they had were the temporary 2 years visas. also, there was a khmer lady naturalized citizen was forced to sign a paper to let go her citizenship after she got off the plane at lax, was detained for 4-5 days until a lawyer went to get her out from dentention.
the chosen land.
I don't care. I'm just happy my favourite poster is back. Where you been Baker?

Welcome back MDB! Anyway, are you saying these are Cambodians who are visiting from the US and having problems returning? Are these people who have lived in the US for more than 10 years but haven't sorted out their citizenship, or those who have emigrated there more recently and never gained any special status? I'm interested because I have some family visiting for the first time in over 20 years soon, but I'm pretty sure they have their status sorted out.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

What does any of this have to do with President Trump? Cambodia is not one of the countries listed in his executive order.
I'm not a big fan of President Trump, and up until two days ago I genuinely disliked Customs and Border Protection. It's their job though to exclude people who don't have the proper visas or authorization to enter or remain in the country. They've been doing it for years. It just never made the news when Obama was president. Nowadays reporters want to spin every deportation or denial of entry as product of "Trump's new racist America." It's absurd.

I've never been back. I'd never inflict the xenophobic rednecks on my missus either.

from the rumor mills sound like it's like recent arrivals who have just recently got legal status living in usa. but the khmers like to spin stories and scaring other khmers the shiate of out themselves.

Dad and I traveled to Alaska in the wake of 911 and as we transited on domestic flights through America, the airport dudes slowly but surely confiscated every last bit of his decades old Sheffield steel grooming kit from its battered and much loved leather travel case.
Cunts.
