Dealing with the hot season
I have sat with my feet in ice before during hot season. it certainly helped.
Freeze your top sheet. Wrap it in a plastic bag for a few hours and take it out just before bed. This should then keep you cool. Or/and do as the missus does and sleep spread eagle. The only downside with this is that you will sweat for a while. Then take your sheet out of the freezer. Win win.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

That'll stay cold for about 8 seconds, or even less if you rip a decent fart

A friend gave me something like that way back, along with a matching boonie hat from the same line. I don't remember it being much use. At the moment it's hot as hell so having a kroma isn't a bad idea to just wipe those beads of sweat off your brow before it starts dripping in your eyes. I wouldn't wear one too much outside of home or a trek though.Gasser wrote:actuallly some ppl claim a product made from those planter hydration beads works great. Someone put em in a cloth tube and sewed the ends shut. You'd put it in water with ice and it would soak in the cold, then you'd drape it across the back of your neck with the ends danglin down yer front. I tried it, could not be bothered but my brother who tol me about it swears by em.
Might try that with a small towel I spose
