I'm sure there are plenty of taxes on any imported agricultural equipment, and certainly on a car if you drive one.DF wrote:I should perhaps have said 'almost no taxes'.Lucky Lucan wrote:What makes you believe that? There are plenty of taxes on income and goods here.DF wrote: No taxes
I really consider the taxes quite negligable compared to the UK. More a pay as you go, system. I am also retired, so have never considered personal tax. I do have quite a large plantation, but as yet, no taxes on agriculture

You don't pay tax by not doing anything, not about Cambodia. Worst post we've witnessed since Vagimir was banished.

I am sure there are. Most countries in Europe are receiving 30 to 50% in income tax from citizens after allowances. Then VAT on top of everything you buy at upto 20%. Cars, machinery etc etc are taxed of course before you buy them.Miguelito wrote:I'm sure there are plenty of taxes on any imported agricultural equipment, and certainly on a car if you drive one.DF wrote:I should perhaps have said 'almost no taxes'.Lucky Lucan wrote:What makes you believe that? I have never been demanded tax on a salary, nor on our workers on our farm.
Fringe benefit tax?
Most of your other mentioned taxes are repeats of themselves.
VAT at 2% on accomodation and 10% on food and drink. What about everything else?
When did you last pay VAT on a tuk tuk or massage?
