the waste isn't waist high. Kampot has a fantastic sewage system that was put in place by the Romans when they came across on elephants from Thailand (previously know as "I am Siam, Siam I am"). They where the ones that planted all the Durian Trees that they had brought over from when they colonized Albuquerque in the 13 century.
