Well if you think about the Honda Dreams has the same color and style and so do many Lexuses. If I am a super rich in this country I want mine to stand out. Pink is the best choice of color in this case...but I would personally go for rainbow color though.

If the owner like the color, so what?

Not for cars though. I've found black or white cars are the favorites. I bet if you went to a showroom that had an orange car in stock, you'd be able to talk them down more than if it were black or white.rgrowden wrote:Orange is a favorite color here.
My apartment, brand new, khmer-style, has a pink and silver bathroom. The livingroom is purple, turquoise, and aqua. Orange is a favorite color here. They won't even notice a pink car.
How do you read that and think I meant they liked orange cars? Read much?

I'm pretty sure that was the Merc snapped outside the short lived San Franciscan coffee chain on 63, no?LexusSchmexus wrote:I'm sure an Arab from the Gulf would also approve. Years ago I posted a 911 with a gold paint job that looked like it came out of spray cans. Also a G-Wagen or some Merc that was painted gold with pink rims and a pink logo on the hood. Pure class.
That was the Vic Boyle special ML - no big deal that one, the wrap probably cost more than the vehicle.
@ The Bentley - it's a VW Phaeton in a Saville Row suit. Not that there is anything wrong with that, the Phaeton is a remarkable car. Not so good for the third world though, we had 3 parallel imports on ramps in the shop at one stage.

This is the time of Asia. Good for this guy, pink or whatever colour!
As an Asian myself, seeing all the ungrateful and crude language used here towards the country hosting these foreign guests, visiting aliens, some of whom draw salaries to enable them to buy food to satiate their hungry stomachs and yet reciprocate the hospitality and generosity of this Kingdom with such crudeness, makes me wish this and other governments in this region will further tighten that visa noose!
They leave their country's nightmarishly cold winters to warm their ungrateful selves here, feed themselves with money earned from opportunities given to them so they can live each day with a full belly and yet disparage and mock the people of this country!

Just curious, but where do they get to spray such a car bright pink before it makes it's way here then?

It's not a paint job, it's just a huge sticker. The best Bentley I have seen here had an army-green sticker-wrap and Blue & Red RCAF plates. I didn't take a picture of it, surprisingly enough.spitthedog wrote:Just curious, but where do they get to spray such a car bright pink before it makes it's way here then?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
