Different markets and laws require different labelling and spelling etc.
If intended for the US market liter would be correct but to much of the world liter is a misspelling of the word litre.
Nothing unusual about any of the above. Take the words ...centre... or...metre...for example. All perfectly correct in much of the English speaking world.

Yea I am aware of the spelling, I just find it strange they put a comma instead of a decimal.
