All cinemas (US, AU, UK, etc) will permit entry to kids to restricted films if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. The cinema isn't breaking any law or code by doing so.dsl25 wrote:I don't think you believe the same for your own kids and that you would bring them to watch this movie along with your wife on a Sunday afternoon family AEON tour.epidemiks wrote:A bit of naked Jennifer Lawrence and some ultra violence never hurt no one.
Legend we're selling red sparrow tickets to young teens today too. Mostly young couples.
Young couples and teens are not kids. Kids with their moron parents.
Yes, I would take my kid to see an r/ma film if I thought it would be a significant positive experience for him. I wouldn't take an 8 year old to see Saw or other sadistic horror, but would you deny a kid Raiders of the Lost Arc because some spectacled dude graphically melts? It's a rated M in Australia, so kids under 13 have to miss out. What about Mad Max? It's basically an Australian rite of passage to watch it, but it's R, so guess kids will have to wait until they're 18..
