Why? My missus loves Mexican food, I’d say probably her favourite. The younger ones would embrace it.Miguelito wrote:Or Chipotle. Don’t think they’d catch on here though...Just Robbed wrote:Taco Bell
I think there is quite a lot of crossover with SEA and central/southern American cuisines.

Mama's NY Deli does good sandwiches most of the time. Their corned beef is really tasty. It's sliced really thin, so looks almost like ham. That NY deli style corned beef is not something I grew up with, I always thought of corned beef as Spam style stuff that came out of a can covered in jelly and was cut in thick slices.Just Robbed wrote:C

Mama's put a whole load of it in a sandwich though, same goes for their salami sandwiches. Sometimes they might have been at the end of the loaf though and I've taken away some weird constructions from there.
Joma can do a decent Reuben, maybe $5.50 or something.

First time in Mamas I was sure they had given me ham and not corned beef - I queried it but didn’t complain because it was delicious.
Is Mamas in a new location now?

Super duper has sold most of those things at some stage. I chocolate bars come from Oz though (I think) and taste a bit differently - I reckon they use a different chocolate recipe.dan1el wrote:Chocolate bars like curly wurly , yorkie , fuse bar and KitKat chunky and also marmite AND ploughmans pickle.
