Can you tell me what is your fav hotel WITH BALCONY on Phnom penh riverside, not far from many restaurants ?
Or do you know any bungalow style hotel around PP ?

OP, there are a number of such hotels. Most of them have favored rooms with balcony (more expensive) and other rooms without balcony.
Check out Bougainvillier, River 108, Quay, Jaya Inn, Riverside Suites, Amanjaya.

currently staying for a few days at the riverstar,i stay in the rooms with the balcony overlooking the river,nice river views and large rooms,$33 a night quite ok value,

I spent an evening drinking beer on a balcony at the Quay - was very pleasant and the room service was pretty quick with the buckets of beer for us.
