Chinese in Sihanoukville
I kinda enjoyed Sihanoukville a few years back.
Seems the Chinese have taken it over.

The real shame is that they will displace the riff-raff that devastated Sihanoukville long before the Chinese invasion. Once they reach Kep, it's game over.

An extract from that article, which sums up the Chinese, in Cambodia and worldwide: "Even when the Chinese are walking on the road, they walk like they bought the road, too".
Filthy, arrogant creatures. They get lots of shoulder from me here in China.

The Kung Foo fighting is real. Its early days. Soon, they will progress as my Russian mate in Chinaville stated.,
They will get guns. It will get bad,

If it's any consolation, they behave the same in China. Noveau Riche Chinese in a group, preferably withBaas Babelaas wrote:An extract from that article, which sums up the Chinese, in Cambodia and worldwide: "Even when the Chinese are walking on the road, they walk like they bought the road, too".

two shots of Bai Jou under the vest for courage, is unbearable anyplace be it Pattaya, Cambodia
or mainland China. Tony Montana would last a morning, tops. Maybe he'd have taken out a dozen
of them with his Bren Ten, problem is there are always HUNDREDS of dozen Chinese.

I hope I'm wrong but barring an economic collapse of some sort (say the rest of the world actually started producing their own needed goods in their own country...fat chance) one billion Chinese with an expansionist/imperialist/colonialist minded leadership (and who's going to change that?) will likely cover the world too soon. Cambodia is but one of many tips of the iceberg the way it looks to me. Whine about it taking over Kep if you want but there will be way worse to come.
My point wasn't against the Chinese in that instance, it was that their takeover of Shanghaiville would have displaced a lot of the great unwashed along the shore to Kampot and possibly Kep. I doubt the Chinese would ever go that far as you can't build a 2,000 room casino in Kep too easily, but you can definitely open a shitty little hovel that bangs out "DJ" music 24x7, flogs weed, and attracts morons from across the globe.Gasser wrote:..Whine about it taking over Kep if you want but there will be way worse to come.

If it's possible to build a huge casino on the top of Bokor, I don't see why they wouldn't pop a few up in Kep.
Hopefully Donald Trump is aware of our little predicament and is developing a cunning plan to undermine the Chinese economy and they will all go home and leave us in peace.
