They had $7 lunch sets but I opted for the $25 sashimi plate, because, you know, baller.vladimir wrote:Hahaha, do a kamikaze on them!Miguelito wrote:And now I’m in a nice Japanese restaurant for lunch and even they are torturing us with Christmas music. Make it stop!
No wonder it's cheaper than you thought, you got the Kenny G option
It was quite good, but started getting hungry at about 5 PM, so I guess I should have taken the $35 sashimi plate instead.

You're in pretty good shape for someone who eats so much, tbh.Miguelito wrote:They had $7 lunch sets but I opted for the $25 sashimi plate, because, you know, baller.

This goes back to the health thread. There’s no big secret - exercise and try to eat moderately good food/ingredients. I started today with a 6km run, which not only burns those calories but boosts the metabolism for the day. I can’t even imagine how many calories Hanno must eat while he’s in full beast mode training for an ultra.vladimir wrote:You're in pretty good shape for someone who eats so much, tbh.Miguelito wrote:They had $7 lunch sets but I opted for the $25 sashimi plate, because, you know, baller.

Where do you run the 6km.? Is it down the Riverside, or in a gym? Do you live outside town?
I used to run a lot, 5km, 2-3 times a week, but around here in PP, it is so polluted, I sometimes wish I was living in Kampot or Siem Reap.

Run along the riverfront, Wat Botom and Independence Parks, Koh Pich is great to run. Other good places to run would be over by Sohka,Olympic stadium if you don't mind doing laps, or just take the ferry across to Arey Ksat for a little fresher air and some trail running is possible.

If you are using these signs as a guide to the distance you have run then you have not run 6km. The distance between each sign is not 50 m
Christmas in Cambodia to me means a heap of mediocre fresh (cough/cough) seafood from the markets and cartons of mediocre beer. Enough for everyone but if you want spirits then bring your own. I dont pay for watered down crap from Thailand
Christmas in Australia to me means all the freshest ( and best ) seafood.
You name it, it will be on the menu.
Tell me what spirit you drink and there will be a bottle waiting just for you.
Tell me what beer you like and there will be a carton just for you.
I prefer seafood and salad but this year i have a few Kiwi's in my employ so a hangi has also been added to the festivities ..
They will have a pig to cook in the ground but they can dig the fucking hole and gather the wood.
Family, friends and co-workers hanging around the pool and pigging out on nothing but the best.
Only happens once a year,right??
Ho ho ho, merry christmas
Thank christ the boss is paying.
Hang on a sec, i am the boss... $$ OUCH $$

The coracle will not be used Chrissy day... I like to get plastered too.
It's hard to find a designated driver who will stay sober over the next few weeks
