Are those dealership statistics, or you know, real world numbers ?Miguelito wrote:Considering Fords have been the number 1 newly imported car for the last two years (more than even Toyota) that must keep you pretty busy.newnewnewbie wrote:I always keep an eye out for the Ford's in traffic, often driven by noobs and embassy knobs, I've noticed.

Ford is doing great with the Ranger (observations).
Also the key word here was "newly".

And, yes, the key word was that that is for new car imports. But even so, it's impressive to take over Toyota in this market.

Many gov. related/owned business gives a car when lower level managers get promoted. In 2017 & 2018 the car used to be always Ford. Wonder how much that impacts the numbers. Interestingly end of last year I heard they were offering now Mazdas instead.Miguelito wrote:Yup, they actually track those pretty closely.Marinaris wrote:Official customs numbers and dealership stastitics, I'd guess.Playboy wrote:Are those dealership statistics, or you know, real world numbers ?Miguelito wrote:Considering Fords have been the number 1 newly imported car for the last two years (more than even Toyota) that must keep you pretty busy.newnewnewbie wrote:I always keep an eye out for the Ford's in traffic, often driven by noobs and embassy knobs, I've noticed.

Well, I am kind of liking that F-150 Raptor I've seen around. It's got that 'get out of my way' look about it.
I rented one of those a few times, and people really did get out of my way, even if just going 40mph in the slow lane.
Anyway, but this was about bimmers, ..

There is a forum that agrees with you and just purchased one of those Raptors. We should all beware.newnewnewbie wrote:Well, I am kind of liking that F-150 Raptor I've seen around. It's got that 'get out of my way' look about it.
