Did Ken Wilcox get arrested in Florida for DUI (again) and piss his pants (again) and jump bail (again)?
Well, you already know the answer.
We have previously discussed former Cambodia expat and psychologist Kenneth Drew Wilcox at length here and here.
The not so breaking news is that Wilcox got arrested in Florida again. Here is the report of that arrest. It's from April 2017. We're slipping, I know.
On April 14, 2017 at 1:41 a.m., Wilcox was found by a Broward County Florida Sheriff's Officer sitting behind the wheel of a white 1997 Jaguar stopped in the road in the city of Lauderhill. The key was in the ignition and the car was running. There was damage to the front of the car.
The officer noticed that Wilcox's eyes were glassy and his speech slurred. Wilcox told the officer he had been at Rumors Bar and Grill in the nearby town of Wilton Manors, where he drank two vodka tonics about 4-6 hours earlier. Rumors appears to be a gay bar, if the Facebook photos of its 2018 "Santa Sip N Strut" event are anything to go by.
Wilcox was asked to step out of the vehicle and perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. He then blew into the breathalyzer and registered a .185, more than twice the legal limit of .08. Wilcox was arrested, at which point the officer noticed that Wilcox was wet. Wilcox confirmed that he had pissed his pants. Yes, he pissed his pants during a DUI stop, again.
Wilcox was charged with DUI, enhanced DUI, improper stopping, and other traffic infractions. He posted bail but then skipped a mandatory court appearance in January 2018, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Here's the January 2018 warrant ordering his arrest for failure to appear.
According to the Florida Crime Information Center wanted persons website, Kenneth Drew Wilcox is currently a wanted fugitive. If you know where he is, be sure to tell Crockett and Tubbs.

Does warrant for arrest make a person a fugitive?
Are they a fugitive if they are continuing life in the same location and even same circle of friends?
The police don't go out of their way to track down people who miss mandatory court appearances then?

They may not have his current address, there are references in the court file to mailings to him being returned undelivered. I imagine that as a misdemeanor fugitive, he's a low priority.violet wrote:Why don't they just go arrest him?

It would be nice, you know, just for a change, if he mixed it up a little.
Maybe next time he could try evading the police and a hilarious high-speed car chase could ensue.

What are his other crimes then? I always seem to just remember the pee pants stuff.

His biggest crime was him being a complete and utter cunt. Everything else just flowed from that.

Some pretty lame stuff like stealing a sofa to put in his trailerpark home, but loads of other stuff that he may or may not have been charged with like violent abuse of his underage "boyfriends" including tazering at least one. What was amazing about it was how many deluded western women here (who had likely used his "psychologist" services) defended him, to the extent of threatening violence against one rather petite woman who spoke out against him. He was a weird Walter Mitty character who lied like crazy about owning all sorts of properties around the world. One guy I knew who worked for a university here told me how he started dressing like their staff and was found leading groups (of hapless foreigners he was trying to scam) on tours around the campus like it was his. It was noticed very quickly and he was told to get out and never come back.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Has anyone got any update on Dr Ken Wilcox? Looks to us like he's got a new warrant out for his arrest dated March 24th 2021 for Invasion of privacy http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/restric ... ersons.jsf
We hear he's up to his old tricks posing as a wealthy philanthropist - anyone know anymore?

Oh, you have a lot to catch up on.
This was a full article from back in 2019: Has Notorious American Fugitive Psychologist Ken Wilcox Reinvented Himself as a Wealthy Aristocrat named Drew Carrington Who Will Soon Join the House of Lords as “8th Baron Carrington”?
Then there was a discussion about it here.
I thought Gavinmac had recently posted about him getting arrested again as well, but can't be arsed to find it.

He's been arrested at least three times since that article was written, there are currently two bail jump bench warrants for him out of Miami-Dade County, and he has a court appearance Friday in Broward Couty on the 2017 DUI arrest. It's hard to keep up.
