Oh Man, its great you were able to post that. Please calm down.over the rainbow wrote: ↑Thu Feb 28, 2019 5:20 pmcleared cookies, cleared cache, still being asked to sign in AGAIN.
Why do you always complain? We can refund you're subscription fee and cancel you're account . if you wish.
Glad it is finally working. for you, Horace. Your problem was one of the weirder ones.
Over the rainbow, I did not think to mention this before but maybe I should have: The cookie is what the site checks to see if you are logged in or not, so any time you clear cookies you will have to log in again.

Also... I'd question these massive white margins from a design perspective, but your call...

I got logged out just trying to post this again.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Wed Feb 27, 2019 9:45 pmOh yeah, just saying that I'm still getting logged out all the time, I've tried clearing my cache and whatever has been advised but it still happens and this is a major pain in the ass, and really puts me off posting here. I keep logged in on a few devices and don't see why I have to keep logging in again, and sometimes I log in and try to post and I get put back at the "log-on" page. Seriously, this is fucked and while I want to support this site I don't have time for this shit. It's been an issue for at least 6 months now and needs to be addressed.

The funny think about my new avatar is I have ancestors on both sides of the cowboy's and Indian's struggles. And yes, a whole lot more indian blood than Elizabeth Warren!

I'm not getting logged out any more, it seems, but the "Remember me" function isn't working.
Also, I assume there is no jumping to the first unread post in a thread as part of this upgrade? It's a very useful function on fora that have it.

Agree, having almost half the right hand side of my screen totally blank is enough to put me off looking at the site. And seeing as I can no longer log-in on my phone (network error) I'll be taking a slightly reluctant break from 440. I'll check back in a week or so....OrangeDragon wrote: ↑Thu Feb 28, 2019 11:05 pmAlso... I'd question these massive white margins from a design perspective, but your call...

Yes, i understand that. I've never brought a brand new car, they devalue too quickly.
