Rugh would NEVER do anything like this! He has been set up! The girls father's nickname on facebook is "no money, no honey", so he obviously is a pimp/con man of some sort. Rugh is the kindest, most loving individual I have ever met and he NEVER would be interested in kids. This is extremely unfair and fucked up.
Can you solve the mystery on how to pronounce his name?

I believe he's accused of molesting four different girls under age 15.Miltonbradley wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 12:32 amRugh would NEVER do anything like this! He has been set up! The girls are all related to each other. I was born and raised in Cambodia before moving to the US for my college degree. There are a few things I want to say:
1. Good girls don’t visit pubs and bars in my culture. Especially when you’re under 15. I myself have never had a drink until I graduated college in the US. Even now, my tolerance to alcohol is near zero. My co-workers often make fun of me because I’ll turn red with one drink. According to this article, he met these girls at Pub street. Girls that are around Pub St by themselves at night without their parent!? Just for that; I doubt they themselves are innocent good girls.
2. Unfortunately, the country is poor and people do anything for basic food. There is no social benefits. Therefore, child labor is super common. Some “children” don’t want to work hard so they opted out for “prostitute” for easy money. This is the truth.
3. The country government is corrupted. There is no justice. The legal system is a joke. Don’t even bother to hire a lawyer for courts. Judges make decision by “feeling” or motivated by money or fame.
Finally; I don’t know him very well; but I knew him from the Occupy Tampa protest a few years ago. He has offered free legal assistant to the protesters despite being threatened about his career by the authority.

This should say something about his characters.
I hope at least justice is served in this case.

Are you kidding me? The guy is accused of traveling to one of the most impoverished countries on earth and purchasing sex from desperately poor girls under age 15, and you say he's of high character because he once provided free legal work on a case?Lonelyplanet wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:31 amThe girls are all related to each other. Well, that's the thing about child sex offenders. they all have friends and family members. And when they're arrested, often caught in the act, their friends and family rarely say "Oh, I suspected him all along." They invariably say "No way, he couldn't have, it's a set up!"Miltonbradley wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 12:32 amRugh would NEVER do anything like this! He has been set up! How do you know that really happened? Do you know him? Do you know the girls? Do you know the parents? Did you yourself see what happened? Don’t listen to one side and judge too fast already.
All I said is, I hope for a unbiased trial because he deserves it. If he really committed the crime, he needs to pay for it. Period.

So you are basically contending that these are lazy, no-good prostitutes? That has no bearing on the case, they were underage and this guy Rugh is the one being charged, not the girls. He'll probably only get a few years here, but he could be in for a very heavy sentence when he returns to the US.Lonelyplanet wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:31 amThe girls are all related to each other. If they are underage innocent girls, why were they at Pub st at night instead of at home with the family doing homework?Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 12:48 pmSo you are basically contending that these are lazy, no-good prostitutes? And they accused him of molesting them a few times, why didn’t they do something the first time it happened? Why did they come to him for the 2nd and the 3rd time?
The case is still being investigated. Tje girls are not charged because they are the plaintiff and they are the one seeking “compensation”.
Again, all I hope is a fair trial. Don’t think it is too much to ask.
Interesting name you have there "Lonelyplanet."
If my memory serves me correctly -
The Original Lonelyplanet shut down it's messaging service for several months along with internal posting privileges because it was discovered that pedophiles had infiltrated the website and were posting coded messages to each other on their travel forum.
Why are you attempting to defend someone that chose to have sexual relations with a minor.
A minor is a minor, the age of consent is what is in question.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.
