I have no idea if he was drugged one night or 7 nights or not at all. I'm just saying that there's no reason to believe he was involved.

Are there any reports what the accused was borrowing the money for?

No reason to believe he was not involved? The motive (not necessarily the killing, but the cover up) being love and/or money through insane amounts of debts.
The only alibi being a crazy psycho lady and a box of downers.
He's one lucky SoB to not have been brought into this, and Christ knows how he hasn't. Normally people cry set-up when a white guy is caught for something, this seems to be the very opposite. A woman is cut up and kept in your kitchen for a week and cops don't think it's strange you slept through it?
Anyway, back to the facts as we know them. Mrs Alamo reached court a short time ago and will be telling her story to the prosecutor.

Well, it wont make an ounce of difference. I wonder what she was borrowing the money for...this fact is not reported..or has it?kinard wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 3:01 pmEarly days yet; I would imagine her story is likely to change.Bong Burgundy wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 2:57 pm...He's one lucky SoB to not have been brought into this, and Christ knows how he hasn't.
“She said the suspect, who was once Yaneang’s close friend, borrowed money from her mother and other people in the village. Having no money to repay, the suspect fled two years ago and no one knew where she had gone.
“But on June 2, my mother saw the suspect in a shop at Phsar Kandal market. My mother took the victim’s daughter to stay with her for one night at home near Tuol Sangke pagoda. The suspect’s daughter slept at our home for one night,” she said.”
Am I the only one seeing 2 year gap between the money borrowed and the request to return it? No one thinks that possibility of taking the daughter away could have been considered by the woman as threatening resulting in the outcome?

Are there any other cases of people being drugged for a week straight?
There are a few sensational stories about hookers using scopolamine to drug and rob tourists in Colombia and it is reported that it can take up to a week before the victim sobers up.

He was not drugged for a week straight, Da spiked his drink/meal every evening and of course he felt groggy the following days and had trouble getting up with headaches in the morning.
Those who know him even a little also know there is no way he could have been involved in those tragic events, regardless of how weird some elements may sound.
But there's also a consensus that's he's been a gullible idiot manipulated by that toxic psycho since day one, and to this day he hasn't been willing or able to admit that and move on. Of course it has been ruining his life and will probably continue to do so but that is his choice. He's guilty of stupidity, blindness, whatever you want to call it, but that is no crime in itself.
