I'm not joking I wanted to know what was written about me so I made myself an easy going evercool forum member sock , i didn't put a foot out of place then requested to look at the Darknet and after the okay, I looked at the story I was interested in and within 10 mins I was banned.
I'm sure he is watching.

I never was given access to the Darknet by him it was by one of the other moderators.

So you posted the required number of posts to get darknet access and than gonk or one of the mods (you have zero idea who gave you access) and patiently WAITED to see if you went to a particular tread,(cause he really knew ur sock was you) and watched you as you looked at the darknet thread an than banned ya?

And when he came back and started posting again after a break I got banned even though I was tiptoeing in the forum.

It's easy to check the IP address of a poster, so if Fred always posted from the same IP address and new poster signs up also using the same IP address it creates a link and should a mod/admin care to investigate they will see the possible connection, it's then up to the mod/admin to further investigate the link if they wish to.

Without customization, you can use Google Analytics for example to see exactly which IP is visiting which page and can correlate it with a users originating IP. CEO uses Google Analytics and I would not be surprised if Gonk does look at it religiously.

There are also log files readily accessible and searchable. It’s not rocket science to determine who does what on your website.

With customization, it’s entirely possible to see who is reading exactly what. CEO has many customizations so scoffer’s narrow experience does not apply here because CEO unlike Khmer440 give a shit about their site and spend resources to keep it running.

This forum is heavily moderated to prevent very specific topics and points from being discussed, despite those topics and points being extremely relevant to the subject of the forum and current events. Only because the certain moderator is directly involved.

Moderation bias and free speech are not compatible. It is either free or it is not.

Perhaps the site's general policy of free speech makes an exception for "posters accusing moderators and admins of participating in murders without any evidence of that." If that's the case, I can't say I blame them.

I think the mods and admins have been quite tolerant on the Alamo thread overall.
