Most mobile browsers don’t give the option to, for example Safari on iPhone. There might be a way to force around it but there is no button to press like on desktops. I assume most traffic is from mobile users at this point. Frankly, users won’t do that. If the website requires extra steps to access then it is plain and simply broken.
It seems there are always massive configuration problems involved yet somehow other sites can add HTTPS to their php sites with ease.
phpBB is hard to upgrade due to configuration problems. HTTPS is hard to install due to configuration problems. Third parties don’t work because of configuration problems.
No offense, but I always thought these WordPress and phpBB type sites are easy to maintain with their one click solutions targeting the masses. You’re a hardcore Linux user but CEO runs smoothly on the retainer of a Bangladeshi Google copy paste fanatic.
