I notice Cambodia is dark red. Although, the amount of money coming into Cambodia from China pales in comparison to that of Chinese investment to somewhere like Vietnam, as far as it's related to national GDP, Vietnam doesn't even have much of a colour. Interesting perspective.
More in their pocket than I presumed. A deeply worrying trend for Cambodians.

Up the workers!
Vietnam will never be a Chinese puppet state, too much bad blood between the two states and they are big and organised enough to take care of themselves on a world stage.kungfufighter wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 11:07 pmI notice Cambodia is dark red. It's just paper money, the real problem is the productivity of Asians, they make the rest of the world look like a bunch of lazy cunts. In no way do I feel at home in China, but I do admire the sense of order and synchronous behaviour from these folks. Will it all fall apart like a cardhouse? Time will tell. The Chinks at Aeon are a regular rude bunch in general, the smell of

A lot of Chinese investments in forreign projects are so in name only, since they tend to bring both the needed workforce, and the supporting housing, food, and shopping orgs from back home. Typically the investment is to a large extent spent on Chinese businesses and salaries, so the impact on the local economy tends to not be that large. But the local country still has the full debt.
And if it leads to an increase in Chinese tourism, the same applies, a lot of their expenditure ends up going back to Chinese interests.
So generally Chinese tourists benefits the local economy to a much smaller extent than others.
