Will 2020 Be A Year Of Crisis?
The boss has already warned of regular power cuts. Yesterday citizens were told to conserve water and expect shortages soon, with farmers being told not to grow a 2nd rice crop, even if they have access to water reserves as "natural water that should be conserved for daily use and for growing other crops besides rice"
Then there's the EBA and the constant rumors of a handover.
Do you see problems on the horizon, or will it just be another year of sailing on a bit of a choppy sea?

Every year has been a crisis for so many of the Cambodian population; evictions, expulsions, lack of justice, MFIs, corruption, banning of the people's representatives and local councillors, etc. I expect electricity will not feature very heavily. Although, the second rice crop banning could exacerbate already existing anger levels of the traditional CPP supporting demographic.
I think the CPP heirachy have gone well beyond caring what anyone outside the party thinks. They've been concentrating on the economy, military supplies, and anti-demo training.
If there is any dissent, it will be rapidly nipped in the bud.

Try and get close to what it should be. I sincerely hope you had a dictionary nearby when you worked for M and S

I remember making this post, but couldn't recall what the title was and have been looking for it with no success on the dodgy search function.

I think it's been a great year so far. If only I could fly over to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap for a weekend!
