North Korean Restaurant ordered to close
Damn UN are leaning on Cambodia to shut it's North Korean restaurants. What business is it of the bloody UN ??!?
I remember the first time that I visited the one at the South end of Monivong Boulevard - around 2003
Puppy Soup, crazy live band of Koreans girls with a drummer that reminded me of Animal from the Muppets, giggling waitresses and lots and lots of booze.
Always a fun and unusual night out

A few more details on this nonsense from The Straits Times.
"At the Pyongyang Traditional Restaurant, in a neighbourhood filled with embassies, about a dozen waitresses served dishes including bibimbap and cold buckwheat noodles one evening last week to a room filled with Mandarin-speaking businessmen, a group of South Koreans and a few European tourists. North Korean products and magazines were for sale on a shelf near the entrance."

A real shame. A great place to take visiting friends. Loved the singing and dancing and the pretty girls. Food was pretty rough.

Haha - my money’s on Playboy
Is it really? I visit a couple places in the West, I get CupBop (Bulgogi, Kimchi Rice, Fried Egg) and the wife gets JapChae (Stir-fried glass noodles). I am not a fan of the glass noodles but love the CupBop
I enjoy it but no way to know if they have westernized the taste at all. Plus I haven't explored many other menu items.

They are looking to stop North Korea from generating funds through international businesses, these places are just collateral damage as I don't expect they are contributing anything significant financially.

I would imagine that they are making much more off their Super Dollars than they are off a few bowls of Puppy Soup and a side of kimchi

It was a great place to visit. Tourists loved it. Remember the girl who escaped, I wonder what happened to her.
Since you mention her she probably ended up in North Australia as a sex slave to an old perv

I betcha North Korean birds are right goers what with all that repression.
When it's even illegal to buy a Snickers bar or a Cadbury's cream egg, you are bound to like being abit naughty.
Has anyone on here ever shagged a North Korean chick? Lay back and think of America?
Shit, must be careful now, going through airports.

I’ve never tried North Korean food.
But apparently, neither have the North Koreans.

I've shagged quite a few. They go on NK games, international events, and even some pop bands. They are not under security or anything like that. Pretty nice galz, too.spitthedog wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 12:46 amI betcha North Korean birds are right goers what with all that repression.
