For all you health professionals out there
The Pathology of a COVID-19 Patient
Grim but interesting reading:
Intro
Since late December, 2019, an outbreak of a novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19; previously known as 2019-nCoV)1, 2 was reported in Wuhan, China,2 which has subsequently affected 26 countries worldwide. In general, COVID-19 is an acute resolved disease but it can also be deadly, with a 2% case fatality rate. Severe disease onset might result in death due to massive alveolar damage and progressive respiratory failure.2, 3 As of Feb 15, about 66 580 cases have been confirmed and over 1524 deaths. However, no pathology has been reported due to barely accessible autopsy or biopsy.2, 3 Here, we investigated the pathological characteristics of a patient who died from severe infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) by obtaining biopsy samples at autopsy. This study is in accordance with regulations issued by the National Health Commission of China and the Helsinki Declaration. Our findings will facilitate understanding of the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and improve clinical strategies against the disease.

Up the workers!
So it appears HE called it right. The single case from Westerdam (US woman) has now been tested negative and Australia has announce the all clear.
This comes after all the US crew have been given the all clear too.

Better: Shame on you Malaysia for your bogus testing .....
Given the Malaysian president is still openly denying any Russian involvement with MH17, you can see how corrupt and "deny the truth" this country is. Where Cambodia did grow significantly, Malaysia is only declined on about every scoring opportunity.YaTingPom wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 11:26 amIsn’t it funny. We trusted another country’s word over our “own” PM’s.
There is the possibility they (KL) covered it up, or at least changed their story, for HE but I doubt that.

So, are they telling the truth about her being clear? Those other links are from reputable sources and involve Americans so I doubt it’s all a cover up.v12 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 12:02 pmGiven the Malaysian president is still openly denying any Russian involvement with MH17, you can see how corrupt and "deny the truth" this country is. Seems to me they (and the western media, BBC lol) jumped the gun.
Look, people say I’m blind or naive but I don’t see why expats jump up and down with glee when things fuck up. I don’t want my family growing up in an also ran country. I have high hopes for Cambodia and it’ll succeed with or without HE.
Small country big heart.

And
Cambodian authorities have tested large numbers of Westerdam cruise ship travelers who are still in Cambodia and all have tested negative to date.
That's what they have been saying for ages.

This person originally got tested positive by Malaysia, with the subsequently huge disruption of return home plans for some 800+ Westerdam people, all being suddenly denied transit at all major Asian airports. All due to some stupid bogus testing in Malaysia.

Anyway. If you search Google you’ll find many news sources including one that says all US crew tested negative as have all other guests on board.
Spin it how you want. Why are you even here? You’re one of those that relishes negativity on anything to do with Cambodia. Sad act.

2. Why not just supply a link?
3. You’re one of those that relishes negativity on anything to do with the Cambodian government. FTFY although I wouldn't say relishes. Am aware of a few facts, more like.
4. Related to 3 - It's not an act

From USA Today: After chaos for a cruise ship of passengers and crew, an 83-year-old American woman who was said to have tested positive for coronavirus in Malaysia "never had coronavirus to our knowledge," the CDC told USA TODAY late Friday.
"I have confirmed that all the passengers were tested, and they have come back negative for coronavirus, including the person who initially tested positive," said CDC spokesperson Richard Quartarone. He added that the hospitalized woman "may have had a respiratory illness, but if she did, it was not COVID-19."
The CDC received those results Thursday, said Quartarone. He said the CDC sent revised guidance to state and local health officials late Thursday based on those results.
If Westerdam passengers "have questions or think they shouldn't self-quarantine and were told to (do so) by their local health department, follow up with your local health department," he advised. https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/c ... 834124002/

Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

Now that the Pasteur results are valid there is little coming out of Malaysia. The only "test" that I can find she submitted to there was a thermal temperature gun. This virus is so infectious that she surley would have infected her husband had she had covid-19. Malaysia needs transparency at these times of public health crisis-not this bs.

Well it does sound rather convenient for her to test negative but I suppose there can be false positives.

Your positive outlook is admirable.
