Hardly. You claimed my articles were not recent. I refuted that and now you cast another dispersion. If you want to have a substantive discussion my man i am all for that. Up to you.

Years ago this was a classic Chinese communist government tactic of controlling the population.kungfufighter wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 10:22 amOfficers in the Sichuan Province are allegedly knocking on people’s doors and ordering residents to hand over their pets, while people beg for their companions to be spared, Metro UK reported. I wonder if they eat them?
First you go for the animals and then..
Thousands of stray dogs were culled.
I see dead dogs everywhere..

The continuous accumulation of Corona infections on the Diamond Princess, suggest, there was a active "spreading" mechanism on board. Airco or maybe the sewage system (which infected vertical blocks of apartments in HK), something similar. Norovirus seems to be much more contagious though.
And yep, the simple fact that only "one" person on the Westerdam was infected suggests, the Malaysian detection failed. And when an infection test is considered only valid when 2 independent samples, taken within an interval of 12 hours, show positive, Malaysia seems to have turbo clocking.

I think Malaysian health authorities used a thermal temperature gun on an 83 year old lady with pneumonia then reported her elevated temperature as positive for covid-19. They jumped the gun so to speak and have yet to show a chain of command proving they were ever in possession of her positive test.

The CDC updated their handling section of covid-19 on Feb. 14 which just happens to be the same day Malaysia says they found the virus on a Westerdam passenger through back to back tests on the same sample. I certainly wonder if this is coincidence. Canada reccomends different samples be used in their collection process. Makes sense: " A minimum of two specimens, from two different sites:v12 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 9:31 pm

Upper respiratory tract: submit both a nasopharyngeal swab (NPS) AND viral throat swab collected in universal transport medium.
Lower respiratory tract specimens: submit when possible.
Sputum: collect if patient has a productive cough. Do not induce." https://www.publichealthontario.ca/en/l ... oronavirus Testing currently can take up to a day so Malaysia needs to share with the world exactly what type of test they used and the protocols they followed along the way, ie storage, shipping, chain of custody, etc.

Ya know, Russia sure did close it's border with China very quickly. Makes it hard to ignore recent reporting on the very origins of this virus: "Feb.22, 2020 At an emergency meeting in Beijing held last Friday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping spoke about the need to contain the coronavirus and set up a system to prevent similar epidemics in the future.maxx wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:40 amytp has established an entrenched pattern of being a troll sock. just ignore her inane postings

A national system to control biosecurity risks must be put in place “to protect the people’s health,” Xi said, because lab safety is a “national security” issue.
Xi didn’t actually admit that the coronavirus now devastating large swathes of China had escaped from one of the country’s bioresearch labs. But the very next day, evidence emerged suggesting that this is exactly what happened, as the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology released a new directive entitled: “Instructions on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that handle advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus.”
Read that again. It sure sounds like China has a problem keeping dangerous pathogens in test tubes where they belong, doesn’t it? And just how many “microbiology labs” are there in China that handle “advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus”?
It turns out that in all of China there is only one. And this one is located in the Chinese city of Wuhan that just happens to be . . . the epicenter of the epidemic.
That’s right. China’s only Level 4 microbiology lab that is equipped to handle deadly coronaviruses, called the National Biosafety Laboratory, is part of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And then there is this little-known fact: Some Chinese researchers are in the habit of selling their laboratory animals to street vendors after they have finished experimenting on them.
You heard me right.
Instead of properly disposing of infected animals by cremation, as the law requires, they sell them on the side to make a little extra cash. Or, in some cases, a lot of extra cash. One Beijing researcher, now in jail, made a million dollars selling his monkeys and rats on the live animal market, where they eventually wound up in someone’s stomach. https://nypost.com/2020/02/22/dont-buy- ... rom-a-lab/

Can't be bothered reading what the debate between you and YTP is........... but anyway just to correct one non-truth from above, COVID19 and viruses of the like do not need leve 4 containment - level 3 is sufficient - there are many of these around China!Sonic1 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:28 amYa know, Russia sure did close it's border with China very quickly. The Khmer Times are definitely not biased:
Opposition can oppose. But not without logic and reason and fan the flames of hatred, doubt and fear. Mu Sochua may have caught a new variant of the COVID-19, the “COAMNESIA 20” syndrome – Coronaamnesia 2020.
Enough with the rhetoric as the Malaysians have now publicly stated that renewed multiple tests on the 83 year old American woman passenger from the Westerdam has now proven to be negative.
Maybe Mu Sochua and her sympathetic agenda motivated media are just plain sore that Prime Minister Hun Sen’s actions in allowing the Westerdam to dock and allow passengers to disembark transcended politics and highlighted humanity, which the self exiled opposition simply do not have nor comprehend.
