She probably told them herself, just to add drama?

Unless she has wings, I'm guessing her passport.
She could take Lanmei airlines to Bangkok. They don't care, they were flying directly from Wuhan to Siem Reap during the quarantine. Once in Bangkok she could lose her passport in her suitcase and get an emergency passport from the embassy. She could use the emergency passport to go back to England where she could miraculously find her passport in her suitcase after unpacking.

It has nothing to do with airline. If Thailand has instructed airlines that they don't take passengers who have been in Wuhan in last few weeks, then airline won't allow them to board even as they would need to fly them back to SHK if they are refused entry to Thailand.Alexandra wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 5:04 pmShe could take Lanmei airlines to Bangkok. Or she arrived on a direct flight from Wuhan. I can imagine if the Wuhan airline is something like China Southern that the flight would be logged in the NSA global Brother 84 system or similar.
Also Chinese exit stamps tell you where you left from so if some crafty airport staff of Chinese descent reads the stamp they'll know.

All international airports and airlines are linked, and share info with many different government's security agencies. Just ask gavinmac or our illustrious new leader Alexa. (I think this should be her new nickname. Someone start a poll?)

Well, I hope they get it sorted. Any updates? (I used to live near Wisbech, btw. Sounds like an adventurous young lady,)

I don't know Spalding. Kings Lynn is quite a dump, tho. Wisbech is a little town near Cambridge. I'd say Lynn.
