Have you experienced anything similar?
Last week I went to Super Duper minimart in BKK1 to get some milk and bread. After paying at the cashier, one of the staff approached me and said, "Can you please wait?"
I was a bit confused but waited anyway. 5 minutes later the staff came back with her phone and said, "This is you right?". She showed me my picture (taken from CCTV) paying at the cashier the week before. "You paid $5 more than you should, so this is your $5 back."
I was shocked and didn't expect it. It was a very pleasant surprise and made my day. A great Phnom Penh story that I will always treasure. There may be a lot of corruption in this country, but everyday people seem kind and honest.
