Where Can I Buy a Vegan Meat Pie?
I fancy stuffing my face with rich shortcrust pastry and a thick gravy whilst at the same time saving the planet.
Anyone know if they're available in Phnom Penh?

More is the pity.
Isn't there a forum in Vietnam where you live?
Indeed, I refuse to believe that Vietnam is not full to brimming with expatriates all waiting to be fascinated by KFF's world-saving dietary habits.RobW wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 10:14 amMore is the pity.

Interestingly, I don't think there is one like this in Vietnam. On the ones I have seen, most interesting stuff gets deleted instantly by 'secret people'. I think they shoot mods in Vietnam.RobW wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 10:14 amMore is the pity.

I'm hoping for at least 20,000 views on this one. It is a pie thread, after all.slavedog wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 10:27 amIndeed, I refuse to believe that Vietnam is not full to brimming with expatriates all waiting to be fascinated by KFF's world-saving dietary habits.RobW wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 10:14 amMore is the pity.

I saw a place near the Riverside selling that nouveau vegan shit, but no good, honest, down-to-earth meat pies. Reminds me of a lot of vegetarians idea of food back in the 80's.

You may not be able to find your good, honest down-to-earth vegan meat pies because they do not exist. There is no such thing as a "vegan" meat pie by definition.

As if you could tell the difference amongst all that pastry, onion, and delicious gravy.johnny lightning wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 11:40 amYou may not be able to find your good, honest down-to-earth vegan meat pies because they do not exist. I remember when Birdseye brought out vegetarian burgers in the first world's vegetarian phase. They tasted so much like meat, the meat eaters were complaining about wtf was in their meat based burgers, as it likely wasn't meat. They had to withdraw them in the end.
