The reason why members of the Latinx and Black communities are more susceptible to the coronavirus is because obesity and diabetes are more prevalent in the Latinx and Black communities than they are in the white community. This is because healthy foods are less accessible in Latinx and Black communities and also because of the cost of healthy food which many people of colour simply cannot afford.logos wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 2:20 pmWhat a bizarre first post.liuliuli wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:21 amThe New York Times analysis of New York City’s deaths from New Coronary Pneumonia pointed out that black and Latino Americans have the highest mortality rate, twice as high as whites and Asians. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot pointed out in a TV show that 72% of all patients who died of new coronary pneumonia in Chicago were black, and blacks accounted for only 30% of the total population. Before the New Corona virus, everyone should be equal, but in the United States, they chose black people.
How about racism in China, where black Americans are denied housing with governmental approval?

I think it would be difficult to find a country more racist than China, don't you agree Mr Liuliu?
NB what do you think of the events in Hong Kong? And how about how China invaded Tibet , which used to be an independent country? Is that China's dream for the world? Please give us your valuable insights.
If the country was not a white supremacist state then people of colour would have more opportunities and more money to buy healthy foods and live more healthy lifestyles and their immune systems would be able to better deal with this virus.
It is hard to take your complaints of racism seriously, logos, when you have racially abused me, made disparaging remarks about the peoples of India, and are an apologist for antisemitism.
The kind of anti-African and anti-Black racism in China is a far cry from the anti-Black racism of Belgium or the United States. The average Chinese person is certainly more racially tolerant than yourself or that bigot fapsara who cracked a joke about Chinese people 'eating everything that moves.'
There are a few cases of Blacks (and whites) being denied housing. The Chinese might not have laws in place to force landowners to rent to Blacks as the US or Belgium do because China does not have the racist history that Belgium and the US do. Their laws and the enforcement of these laws will change because Chinese people are eager to maintain their relations with their Black brothers around the world. Chairman Mao spoke and wrote about the liberation of Blacks for nearly his entire career and the Chinese have continued to c arry the torch of his struggle for racial justice to this day.
As for Tibet, you can call it an invasion but I think it is more reasonable to call it a liberation. Tibetans under the Lamas were some of the most beaten down and oppressed people in the world. Many were slaves. This is why so many Tibetans took up arms against the CIA backed rebels. Going back to their old way of life was no longer an option after Mao showed them the way forward.
