I don't really think about Covid19 at all at work, but most people are thinking about elderly parents I guess, and as such those plebs mass protesting on the streets.
"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
On TOF he's BR549, and considering where he stole the name, you could count on him being a Trump chump.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 12:42 pmSo you're that boring asshole who parrots everything Trump says and was banned here not long ago?Bob's friend bob wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 6:41 amI thought by now I would of been able to go back to USA and sell my house and do some other things I foolishly put off..

I would say that the general feeling is that the threat has passed and we are out of the woods. In day to day life any changes are almost unnoticeable. Restaurants and bars are busy again, as well as some clubs. Still many places take your temperature when entering, but you can tell no one is really paying attention to that. There's a strong desire to travel, and thus domestic tourism has really picked up, and those with the means are taking advantage of this time to discover parts of their own country which they do not normally. The nice places in Mondulkiri, for example, are getting booked out 2-3 weeks in advance.
As we can see, the high ups in the government are still taking it seriously, and people seem to know this. Companies are treading carefully on the events that they do hold. Really large events are not happening, but small events are common.
The new cases are all arrivals, with no community transmission reported yet. The mindset really seems to be that there is no covid here, for the moment.

^ You don't think there are more masks around than a couple of weeks ago?
It also seems to be common knowledge that quarantine in hotels wasn't being properly enforced.
We only know the Cambodians we know but the ones I know are more scared than they were.

Some more masks than this time last year, but I haven't noticed any more than a month ago. There are still a few places that masks are mandatory, such as the CIMB building and Vattanac Mall, but they're the exception and I've seen Cambodians rolling their eyes at it.
The parks seem busier than ever in the evenings now, there are weddings, and even Aeon is full.
