I stopped on 172 for a quick drink yesterday. There are some very unhinged looking characters walking around. They look semi-homeless and appear to have mental problems. There are also quite a few brothers hanging out there now. All in all, I don't think I will be going there much in future.

Why did they bother attempting to pixelate the face?

On TOF there is an article about a guy walking out of what was probably scumdance and dying of a heart attack. (drugs)

It would be wise to skip 172!

Don't mind a bit of edginess. But one gets the feeling there that one could be randomly attacked for no reason by some drugged out loser. There are some good businesses there - Big Easy, The Vine, Sun Dance. I feel sorry for them. I have taken my kids to The Vine for a burger once or twice - think we'll give it a miss in future.

I respectfully disagree re: the businesses on that street. I went to the Easy once and had dirty silver. The manager was indifferent. Re: the other two, I know what goes on there...

Yeah, give 172 a pass!

Yup, things happen on St. 172. Like, in any other 'lively' place on earth.

Seems the pussies (aka Cambodia Expats 2.0) want to give 172 a miss, because sometimes something is happening there.

Glad to hear, please stay in Balsac Lane...

Awful place the bar is full of Nigerians I had the misfortune of staying there one night, the room had no windows it was above the bar and noisy all night.
To top things off they were hassling me about checking out as I was half an hour late, absolute dump I would never go back even if it was free!
