While living the aircon life I have noticed that my skin and eyes are getting dry. In Aeon mall I noticed some machines chuffing out water vapour so I bought one and put it on my bedside table.
While it has helped the humidity in the room, the thought has just occurred to me that atomising and breathing Cambodian tapwater may have consequences. Anyone care to chime in?
Water vapour machine/humidifier - local tapwater
That depends on where your live and where your tap water comes from.
Some parts of PP have very good tap water.
Others - No so good.
So at this point in time - it's difficult to to give you definitive answer.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Why would you want a humidifier in SE Asia?
pew, pew, pew, pew!
Because I don't live barefoot in one of those stilt houses out in the sticks. The air-conditioned place in which I live has a dry atmosphere. And air-conditioners dehumidify as well as cool the air.
Ok.
Be careful around anything electrical with those.

If you are using tap water let it sit in a bucket for a day and the chlorine will oxidize. Measure the pH if you’re really feeling anal. Use distilled or reverse osmosis water if the bucket is too much of a hassle.
Then you should worry more about how often you clean that thing. It’s recommended to clean a humidifier at least once a week but with Cambodian dust you probably want to clean it more often.
Don’t trust the RHE meter on the humidifier. Buy a separate meter.

I think I'd rather just slap on some coconut oil and eye drops.

Maybe he lives in a condo with windows that don't open?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
He might as well just stick to using water straight from the tap, after all, that's where the majority of those plastic 20L water jugs are filled from.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 7:51 pmJust use bottled water, 20l costs a buck for fuck's sake.
