I am more curious as to why anyone here gives a toss.
I suspect this character and his ilk fill the role of reality tv stars, without the pay, or the fame. Essentially they are the "Housewives of Kampot".

I'm not sure anyone does really give a toss. No Joke Howard was mildly amusing, his first videos where he just wandered around explaining stuff like a tour guide were okay. Then he descended into his weird personal relationships, drug binges and confused sexuality. He liked slagging off other foreigners that he didn't know anything about. I never even saw the guy around town, and it wasn't long before he was basically shipped out by his embassy for his own mental safety. That's sad really. He could have done much better than that, but he was so arrogant he didn't attract much empathy.
This new guy seems to have tried to copy that lame act. Howard was sort of funny though, this guy is just a lame imitation who whines and bitches about everyone. It's seriously dull and unwatchable. Everything he does is painful.
Mostly I just pity these people who have such miserable lives here and can't get their shit together and then decide to broadcast it to the world. Aimless with no career, friends or family in a strange land. There's a certain amount of schadenfreude too.
MrB is the best videoblogger in Cambodia, he's a bit wild but he has real charisma and passion about his work. Nobody wants to listen to confused people bitching and moaning.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
MrB's videos are great and I'd love to do what he's doing. I wouldn't like to do what No Joke Howard did, but his videos and "book" seem to be what are driving many of these lunatics to Cambodia. I generally don't delight in the misfortune of others, but yes, they are like reality show characters/car crashes and I'm having a good time watching their demise. The difference is, these are real people killing/injuring/drug addicting themselves while reality shows are pure horseshit.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 10:17 pmI'm not sure anyone does really give a toss. Colonel Kurtz: Are my methods unsound?
Capt. Benjamin Willard: I don't see any method at all, sir.

This dickhead appears to be working for John Kep nowadays. Did his ex-wife stop sending him child support for the children he abandoned 2 years ago?

Second one,
Second one
Second one.
It's 'i don't bloody believe it' for me.
I know different accents pronounce things dufferently.
I just hadn't heard (or hadn't noticed) visa ever pronounced with an s sound rather than z.
Is it an American thing or just a John Kep thing? Or am I wrong?
