'State of Emergency'/full lockdown
Anybody done some flight tracking lately? Curious if the elite and their Chinese counterparts ride it out here on the ground or have left the country....
That's a bit of an understatement, when all major roads are closed off and moving from one area in PP to another is pretty difficult, even when closeby.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 4:18 pm.....
It seems a bit more stringent but I was easily able to go out and buy stuff including beer in my neighborhood.
The publication does not so much "forbid" to move around, around your own house though, how to do outdoor sporting, if you would not be allowed to do ?
No, unless you have a pretty well idea, when that flight would have been, it's searching for a needle in a haystack. These private planes usually do not leave any relevant identification behind on FR24 and the like, let alone, knowing who boarded.YellowFlu wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 9:06 pmAnybody done some flight tracking lately? Thx v12, I was thinking more about volume. So a sudden spike in private planes around the first general travel ban or later the PP lockdown. Or maybe even a few weeks back when the top must have known it soon would be out of control.
Yep. Lockdown from 8pm till 5am (?) till next week but it’ll be extended for sure.
This’ll fuck up the bars hanging on by the nails. Especially the younger generation bars who’ll party till early am.

Let us see, how this develops, and when the military will appear in the streets.
A good test-case for HS his sole head-of-country leadership style of "forced" cooperation of the general public, having no say in what happens.
Oh, and HS himself seems to be out of the country, next week, leaving a leadership vacume behind.

The expat Facebook groups are quite funny about this lockdown.
People are asking dumb questions and getting the stupidest questions.
And every post has some muppet anticovid crusader trying to hijack the thread.
People are frickin idiots.

Ha, don't you just hate it when peeps answer questions with questions?

Earlier today, I did speak with the hotel owner GM, and it seems to be a huge problem to let people return to their own homes. Hotel check-out OK, Hotel letters given, but people get blocked by the police and told to find out their own. Taxi/Tuk-Tuk availability seems to be pretty low.
To be honest, every post had both anticovid crusaders and total fear mongers in equal measure.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 9:30 amThe expat Facebook groups are quite funny about this lockdown.

I was thinking of switching FB back on -- just to have a good laugh... I can imagine they are all going into conniptions in poor little Kumpot, lol... Some good old Don Quixotes down home there, I'm sure...Lazy feck wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 10:55 amTo be honest, every post had both anticovid crusaders and total fear mongers in equal measure.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 9:30 amThe expat Facebook groups are quite funny about this lockdown.
