Waiting for the vaccine made by the British it uses the same methods as other vaccinations and isn't some new magic we finally mastered this year (pfizer dRna vaccine) Drna was literally a theory 8 months ago.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 4:09 amPersonally I will refuse it. What will others on this forum do when offered a vaccine?
The U.K. and Covid vaccinations.
Bad news about the Chinese vaccine that Cambodia is probably going to buy...
https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/ ... a99da93b2dPeru has temporarily suspended clinical trials of a Covid vaccine made by Chinese drug giant Sinopharm after detecting neurological problems in one of its test volunteers, Agence France-Presse reports.
The country’s National Institute of Health said Friday that it had decided to interrupt the trial after a volunteer had difficulty moving their arms, according to local media.
“Several days ago we signalled, as we are required, to the regulatory authorities that one of our participants (in trials) presented neurological symptoms which could correspond to a condition called Guillain-Barre syndrome,” said the chief researcher, German Malaga, in comments to the press.
Guillain-Barre syndrome is a rare and non-contagious disorder which affects the movement of the arms and legs. Peru declared a temporary health emergency in five regions in June last year following multiple cases.
Well there are several different Chinese vaccines. Interestingly this is the Sinopharm one which has just been approved for use in UAE.

Looks like no going home for Xmas. Was looking forward to seing the family and drinking a large amount of John Smiths.
What are the chances of getting my €19.98 back from Michael O'leary, i wonder?

The UK has gone full on Walking Dead alert.
A friend of the family just got Covid tested for a family holiday in Africa. He paid around 10k for the holiday, but test comes back positive.
Ouch!

My friend at work aways goes out to tenerife at Xmas to see her sister who has a villa there.
This year she had flights, booked a test booked so she would have the 72hour all clear paperwork.
Then last Monday it was announced the army was coming in to our factory on Thursday to do mass testing.
I abstained as did many I know on the grounds that it was bloody Awfull timing and that testing only fuels lockdowns.
My friend for her own reasons had the test (lateral flow) and tested positive. I'll find out later the results of her second test. A positive on the test at work gets you sent home and told to book a second test at one of the drive in test sites for confirmation.
So that's her Xmas fucked.
On a side note there is news that on tenerife Road blocks are up to stop people leaving the airport. So maybe she will at least get some kind of refund on her flight.

Many countries in Europe (including Ireland) have banned all flights from the UK.

Yup its pretty fucking bleak here, quarantining in Cambo seems mighty appealing right now!
Personally I’m loving it. Working an hour or so a day, full pay, the shops are open.
I never bother with pubs anyway so I’m not missing any of that.
Best year of my life to be honest.

Until the shops are empty, Bojo forgot to realize, quite a lot of the good things the UK like, does come from the continent.
However, everything to be surrendered, just to be able to "rule in the UK's own little world". Good luck
The traffic limitations are already being eased a little.

No family get together this Xmas.
No silly hats, and pulling crackers? No board games after consuming far to much alcohol?
I haven't gotten langered, and made a fool of myself with family, for what seems like years. (Internet forums aside)
I was looking forward to it.
Now I get to spend another one like Mr Bean sending an Xmas card to myself.
Come on Scooby. Eventually you will want to make a fool of yourself with a group of loved ones at Christmas, no?
No?

No.
People can go fuck themselves. Covid provides the perfect excuse to do what I love to do most. Avoid people.
