Truly Response that i wanna hear from you
Hello everyone, I am mike from Hong Kong, I am studying high school there, as I am joining a competition, call ‘International Trade Challenge, I likely to interview some of the Cambodian, I will promote a product to you and I need your true response.
the product calls Solar Powered Phone Case, it is a combination of a charger and a phone case using solar power to provide infinite electricity to the phone and to prevent the phone from being damaged. Also, customers can adjust and change the size of the phone case to fit in their phones. The Product would likely be set at $32.99USD.
Are you interested in this product? why or why not?
Tell me what you're thinking
Waiting for your response

It's a good idea, but how effective is it? How long do you have to leave the charger in sunlight for it to be able to fully charge an iPhone?
Also, I'm guessing it would be hard to use whilst charging. Most people use their phone with the back side facing the ground, hence my question above.

Genuine question: does solar power work inside?
If not how would this case work? I imagine that most phones spend their life either indoors, in pockets or in bags.
Having your phone out outside in Cambodia is to invite it to be snatched by a passing moto rider - it happened to me a couple of times. After that my phone stayed firmly in my pocket.

The charger is on the reverse of the phone.
A bit counter-intuitive, most people will have their phone with the screen up. Wrap the charging cells around the side, or make the charging screen detachable. Bluetooth link even better, then phone in pocket as scobienz says, charger nearby, no hassle

Ive designed a hat with a built in solar panel, wind turbine and auto winding that winds up with each turn of the head.
Connects by wifi to mobile device and is available exclusively through me at €29.99 + p&h or equivalent bitscoin.

I’ve designed a hat with a built-in solar panel. When you wear it out, it powers a small hairdryer inside the hat which means you can dry your wet hair when walking outside in the sunshine.
It’s not selling too well.

i carry my phone in my pocket, when i am not carrying it, it sits inside on my desk OUT of the sun>
so when would it see the sun and charge?
FYI:
i've have seen hats with solar cells on the top that power a small fan inside the top to cool ur head off.
I wouldn't be caught dead wearing one thou

I would be interested as I usually keep my phone in my back pocket like a fat 80s wallet & my mum always tells me the Sun shines out of my ass.. could work!

Like people have said, no one is going to leave the phone out in the sun. No one is going to take the phone out of the case while the case is charged by the sun either.
A charger powered by the sun would be different. Charge it in the sun. Use it to charge your phone anywhere. There would be some demand for that.

The picture is of the EnerPlex Solr and based on Amazon reviews I would not buy it.
It’s been on the market since 2015 when it came out for the iPhone 6. It seems like the manufacturer did not release new versions of the case for newer iPhone models, or any other phone. It was the one and only solar powered case that they put on the market.
Someone else with vast resources to burn on R&D could perhaps come up with a case that works better with new phones. Would it be worth it? Probably not. There’s no shortage of power outlets and where there is people are already using power banks.

I don’t like sitting in the sun for excessive periods.
I don’t like sitting too far away from something I bought costing many hundreds of dollars.
It’s a no from me.
Maybe a solar charged power bank with a built in chain and padlock may work in Cambodia.

Thank you for everyone's response,
that"s just a reference photo,
if the charger can slip it out to the front and cost less time to charge,, what"s you guy think?
Actually, I'm thinking this kind of product is more useful for outdoor activities.
The product is just an imagination, and it still has room for improvement,
but I wanna know if someday this product offer for sale, will you buy it, can you give me a mark,
1-10, and tell me why this product attracts you and why not,
thank you, guys.
