Wonder how the officials are going to tell the people how vaccines really work and how well that’s going to settle on the public.
But you know the answer anyway.
You can still catch and pass on the virus even if you are vaccinated. Efficacy is anything from 50-75% so they are at lower risk of passing it on...but still can.
The point of the vaccination program is to achieve heed immunity, which is roughly when around 70-75 per cent of the people are protected.
They have just about reached that point in the U.K. where 62 percent of the population has had its first jab and around 10 percent are estimated to have antibodies derived from early exposure.
That is why the U.K. is opening up again and the rest of Europe remains in trouble.
