A Russian man named Pavel Mironov was reportedly arrested for drugs in Siem Reap on Friday. A Khmer440 reader who wishes to remain anonymous has contacted us with some very intriguing details about this case.
According to Pavel's Facebook page he is the Managing Director of Mintaka Real Estate, a real estate agency in Phuket.Pavel Mironov was detained alongside 4 others- including a Vietnamese woman- and is being investigated on charges of storing, trafficking, facilitating and using drugs illegally.
On October 17, 2014, a Russian man named Pavel Mironov had a fight with his wife. They were on a honeymoon and had recently gotten married. The fight became heated and Pavel walked out into the sea and disappeared. A fishing boat reportedly found a body floating about one kilometer off Trai Trang beach. It took rescue workers 20 minutes to retrieve his body. The body had no wounds or sign of injury.

The Pavel Mironov who drowned in Phuket is the same age as the Pavel Mironov who was busted for drugs in Siem Reap and has connections to a real estate company in Phuket.
This could of course all be coincidental and 2 Russian men named Pavel Mironov of the same age who both like motorcycles were in Phuket at the same time.
The body of a Russian man who walked into the sea and disappeared after a fight with his girlfriend was pulled out of the water about a kilometre offshore Friday.
