I just got my second shot
I just got my second shot
This is how you do it.
Find one of the schools were they are giving shots. Put 100 in your passport and a big shit-eating grin on your face.
When you walk into the school were they are doing the shot procedure, ask one of the people who seem in charge. He's going to tell you no.
Casually flash your passport with the note sticking out a bit, and sure as this is Cambodia, he will change his tune.
I wouldn't go in family style. The optics don't good.
Anyway, I got my second shot today.

Ahh good old jumping the queue perpetuating corruption and denying someone who’s actually inline for getting a jab.
Triple whammy.
Well done though. You’ve now 50% chance of catching COVID (unless you were the only person there) and being hospitalised whereas if you’d actually just stayed home your chance of catching it would be close to zero.

Every single one of us is going to have to push and shove to get a shot, or pay for in it some way. Your going to pay for it with your time.YaTingPom wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 2:12 pmAhh good old jumping the queue perpetuating corruption and denying someone who’s actually inline for getting a jab.

I choose to pay cash for it because I think we are going to be in lock-down for another year, and this is a ticket to go somewhere that is a little more comfortable, and with more amenities, for the duration.
In time, when it gets worse here, you will wish you had been smart enough to figure out what to do, before what's happening, happens to you.
Here's a clue; we live in a developing nation, many live hand to mouth on the reg., and we have a lock-down situation. Food might be scarce soon.
That means it's get the fuck out of dodge, survival of the fittest, time.
You misspelled, hospitalized.

You overpaid them by x10. Nice job...
So which shot you got? If you have gotten the Chinese one it is still a gamble if those can be used for travel. One of them is already not recognized at Thai border crossings...
Getting a different vaccine on a later date is also something that is unclear. So no, I rather wait it out at home for now.

Yes government officials have been vaccinated because they had too (no jab no job) plus no point not vaccinating (ohh. Double negative) immediate family. Also the big companies (Royal, Chip Mong) have vaccinated all their staff, including barang. They did a very efficient job and eclipsed government numbers.
It you want to be faux outraged about that because you’ve seen other people saying it then you’re a mug.
I would think Cambodians are first (no matter what their status) and then expats (teachers etc) then immigrant workers then people who’re in the expat vulnerable group (60+ with health issues) then everyone else.
I certainly wouldn’t be bragging about it online.
(I was slightly being sarcastic. Apols for not making it obvs)

I have friends who have got it purely by being a pain in the hole at vaccination centres and they seem to be really proud of themselves.
I'm inclined to wait a bit and let those who are living in close community with others, or who need it for work get in line before me.
I'm sure I could have got it by now if I had forced it - and I would like to get it - but yeah there are people more deserving of it than me right now.

With a China one, you will still have issues traveling and/or arriving in a Western country, once a vaccination would bring you there an out of quarantine prison card.
Even lowly teflers should of had second jab by now.

What are you on about.
No countries have vaccine stipulation.
